With over 18 years in senior-level catering, and regarded as a maven in Catering, Diane specializes in off-premise catering and provides advisory services for catering companies across Ontario. Diane has experience in a broad range of complex organizations from private, public and not-for-profit sectors. She honed her skills to operate catering services from any location and in the most remote settings.
Having launched numerous corporate drop off programs for start-up catering companies. She enjoys connecting with clients, and suppliers to create show stopping catered events.
Her earlier career includes various senior operational management and strategic development roles including working for one of Canada's most prestigious and historic private country clubs.
Her love for attention to details and passion for service excellence led her to lead the number one barbecue event catering company in Toronto serving up to 15,000 per event and up to 125,000 in a peak event season.
In 2015, Diane relocated to the Region of Waterloo to open the first four-star hotel, Delta Waterloo, overseeing the catering and banquet operations. Followed by taking on Director-level positions with B Hospitality and Ignite Group of Brands.
Passing on her industry experience and skills to the future generations, Diane is a Professor at Conestoga College, developing curriculum and teaching Catering & Event Planning, Attraction & Festival Management, and Service in Hospitality. Diane attends and participates in Catersource and the International Catering Association. She is currently only one of two certified Certified Professional in Catering and Events (CPCE) by NACE in Canada.

Aside from catering, in July 2021, Diane opened a retail store YAY Party Boutique in Waterloo. With hospitality the top of mind, Diane's focused on making entertaining easy, approachable, and planning parties fun and accessible to all in the community, without boundaries or limitations. Based on her industry experience, she curated a wide assortment quintessential products that inspires celebrations, takes the stress away and makes entertaining a piece of cake.
Diane is a board member for the International Wine & Food Society- KW Chapter.
Diane has planned 1,000+ corporate events, 400 social events and 150 luxury weddings.
Catering is Diane's forte and she does it with passion. She loves a good party.
She lives in Waterloo with her husband, four-year old daughter Ivy, and two English Bulldogs Leroy and Petey.
